Yesterday (Feb 25th, 2014), Paco De Lucia passed away. He died at age 66 from a heart attack.
Paco, you made me start learning guitar when I was 18. I remember the day I first saw you play. You truly changed the way I listen to music. Your concert was Friday Night in San Francisco, my favorite concert in my favorite city…. Rest in peace, you will be missed.
To me, you were by far the best guitar player in the world. Thanks for inspiring me and thousands of people around the world.
